I shall be happy to introduce the above projects especially regarding hand pumps and motor pumps in villages areas of Sasaram (Rohtas district). Once again I shall appreciate the people of non-muslim friends for their contributions. Here are the brief of the projects:

1. The depth of water level usually in the locality is about 45 feet, where there is no transport facilities available.

2. There are some people associated with local bodies of Anjuman namely Mr. Naurez Ahmad (contact no. shall be available later) , Mr. Haji Mohammed Hanif Khan (a retired high school teacher) can be useful to contact in this regards.

3. The people living in the most difficult places are about 10 thousand (among 50% are Muslim), I hope about 8 handpumps, 2 motor pumps should serve their minimum scale of life. Most of them earn their livelihood by farming, labourers, masons, plumbers, carpenters etc. they used to work outside for their minimum requirements.

4. Each handpumps costs usually RS. 3000 (excluding labor cost) the materials can be found from 15 km away from the village. Let us say it should come within the total ranges of 4,200 with some smooth places to retain their containers in order to get water.

5. Motor pumps usually cost (Mahindra diesel engine with10 Horse power) about Rs. 40 to 42 thousand (excluding labor cost) and it may cover the areas of about ˝ km. since the population is dense, so 2 motor pumps shall be about sufficient for their minimum scale of earnings. The total cost may range between Rs. 45- 46 thousand. I shall arrange my transport (tractor) to bring materials from the town.

6. Motor pump shall be dipped into the same depth of 40 feet and it can be maintained within the Anjuman's objectives. It shall be monitored by the Anjuman's representatives of said locality (being formed). The complete projects shall be posted on the website as soon as possible (just after the completion). The above mentioned persons shall be available any time to enquire anything concerned.

This may be executed during my stay in the village apart from other assignments like forming agenda, Anjuman;s local office, small scale industries (pickle manufacturing, tailoring house, UPW), marriage sponsorship etc.

If you remember, in the sketch of my project, each hand pump costs ranges Rs. 4,200 (total population around 10 thousand) you may decide how many hand pumps will be minimum for them. For your information, the no. of husk cottages are around 2 thousand having 6 family members in each home.
I suggest 6 hand pumps and one motor pump for this dimensional area of population. It may costs a total of about Rs. 70,200 for this project. The transfer of fund will be discussed later.
Since I have been the beneficiary of MP Quota for the construction of school building and I have authorized Mr. Haji Hanif Khan in order to find sufficient time for Anjuman' local chapter. He will be taking care of construction work facilities.
