Convenor of Dubai Chapter

Mohammad Haroon, is one of the founders of Dubai chapter (Anjuman Islamia, Bihar and Jharkhand) and has led the chapter as its General Secretary on previous occasions. Read more about him.

Majlis-e-Shoora (Consultative Committee)

The committee tries to follow the Concept of Shoora (consultation) as commanded by Allah in the holy in Quran, so that their efforts please Allah and make things easy and rewarding.

1. Abid Hussain, Chartered Accountant (C.A.) from village Chand Chaud, Samastipur, but settled in Kolkata, Corporate Finance Manager for UAE and the Gulf, Ajmal Perfumes: He spent his student life in Ranchi. He has been a founder member and has served the Dubai chapter (Anjuman Islamia, Bihar and Jharkhand) as its Vice President before formation of this new committee.

2. Mohammad Shakeel Ashraf: from Begusarai, Senior Structural Engineer, NUTEK Engineers and Architects: He is one of the founders of Dubai chapter (Anjuman Islamia, Bihar and Jharkhand) and has served the chapter as its Finance secretary, ever since its inception. Every member in Dubai will vouch for his dedication towards selfless service to the community and his sincerity & unflinching honesty. He is undoubtedly the strongest pillar of Bihar Anjuman in Dubai.

3. Habibur Rahman, from Barh/ Darbhanga/ Patna: Manager, Al Shaffar Group's Aluminium, +971-50-5515934: He is one of the founders of Dubai chapter (Anjuman Islamia, Bihar and Jharkhand) and has served the chapter as its Joint Secretary for a long period before formation of this new committee.

4. Dr. Shaharyar Ahmad, from Muzaffarpur, Manager, Tuba General trading LLC: He is one of the founder members of Dubai chapter (Anjuman Islamia, Bihar and Jharkhand) and has served the Dubai chapter (Anjuman Islamia, Bihar and Jharkhand) as its Press Secretary and Joint Secretary for a long period before formation of this new committee.

5. Dr. Sajid Kamal, from Vaishali, freelance writer and historian, has already published a book titled Sang-e-Meel (in this book, he eloquently presents short biographies of those expatriates whom he finds instrumental in the magical transformation of Dubai). Contact no: +971-50-3080424

6. Sajjad Ahmad, from Birdipur, Darbhnaga, Manager-IT, Project Manager - IT , KOJ Est., Dubai, UAE, has been mobilising funds to construct many masjids in Darbhanga district. He is currently working on establishment of a technical training institute (ITI) near his native place.

2. Sponsoring BANEE scholarships to students: Dubai chapter initiated this project in the year 2001 which became a model for rest of the chapters to adopt. The chapter has so far been associated with sponsoring ten (10) students. View Full list of BANEE beneficiaries.
