On behalf of the Dubai chapter, I, Shakeel Ahmad, express my special thanks to Maulana Anisur Rahman Quasmi Sahab (Nazim, Imarat-e-Sharia) for being the guest of honour in Dubai and Maulana Sanaul Hoda Quasmi Sahab (Naib Nazim, Imarat-e-Sharia) for being a source of inspiration in both the parties of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It is definitely appreciable for both of them to manage time to enlighten us with the importance of being good Muslims, unity among us, Ramadan, fasting, helping the needy among us, concerted efforts towards constructive and developmental work and respecting each member of the community, especially the knowledgeable and those having leadership qualities.

Discovering Bihar in Dubai More than 600 brothers had their Iftar and dinner together, in Abu Dhabi, on the 6th October. Similarly, more than 1,300 brothers had their Iftar and dinner, together, in Dubai. In both the events, all the brothers offered joint prayers for the community as a whole, and especially, for the Ummah under constant attack from the detractors. Annual reports of Bihar Anjuman's functioning were presented in both the parties: (i) in Abu Dhabi, by Anjuman's General Secretary (Abu Dhabi), Janab Shaharyar Khan Sb. (Arrah), and (ii) in Dubai, by Anjuman's President for Dubai chapter, Janab Salman Ahmad Siddiquee Sb. (Darbhanga/ Hyderabad).
Shakeel Ashrafi, Abu Dhabi Representative making a point or two? Bihar Anjuman extends its special thanks to brothers from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain who traveled long distances to join us. Similarly, Bihar Anjuman extends its special thanks to all the organizing committee members in Dubai, namely: 1. Naiyer Ahsan (Darbhanga), 2. Shakeel Ashraf (Begusarai), 3. Mohammad Haroon (Siwan), 4. Ali Abdullah (Patna), 5. Dr. Sajid Kamal (Vaishali), 6. Habibur Rahman (Barh), 7. Zakir Hussain (Aunsi, Darbhanga),
The organizers have no place to sit, nor any time to relax!!

In Dubai, this Friday (13th October), 13 (thirteen) buses (12 of them 74 seaters & one 45-seater) were provided free-of-cost by 3 different companies to transport people belonging to Bihar and Jharkhand to and from labour camps spread around Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. Bihar Anjuman expresses its gratitude towards brother Anwarul Haque (Muzaffarpur) of Juma Al Majid, brother Afaque (Bhagalpur), who made these transport arrangements possible. Lipton remained our sponsors for tea this year as well. Brother Shaukat Hamid, GM of a division of Tiffany Group managed the sponsorship of Juice, Ice Cream, Samosa and Kabab. Brother Ali Abdulla, active member of Dubai chapter of Anjuman sponsored drinking water. Similarly, some 30 people jointly sponsored remaining expenses for the whole event. In line with our age-old tradition, this year too, Bihar Anjuman incurred no expenses at all, at any of the events. May Allah reward with Jaza-e-Khair all those who sponsored the two events!
Waiting for Azaan? As usual, Bihar Anjuman members in Abu Dhabi have worked very hard in supplying 200 blankets through the Pakistani embassy. Bihar Anjuman members in Dubai collected Dhs 12,000 (Twelve thousands) for sending to both sides (India as well as Pakistan) through Al Khidma (Jaama'at-e-Islami) for Pakistan, and through Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind for Indian part of Kashmir. On behalf of the whole community, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all those who contributed in the success of the Iftar gathering and in the campaign to help our calamity-stricken brothers and sisters in Kashmir and rest of Pakistan. Bihar Anjuman expresses its special appreciation for Mr. Shakeel Ashrafi (Anjuman's Yahoogroup moderator, in Abu Dhabi) and Mr. Salman Ahmad Siddiquee (President of Dubai chapter, and Patron of biharanjuman.org) for their initiatives and coordinated efforts in organizing help for our community members suffering from unprecedented natural calamity, in Kashmir and Pakistan. May Allah reward them justly!
Salman Ahmad Siddiquee, President of Dubai chapter and I would like
