GUIDELINES

(A)

The MET Loan Scholarship is offered to financially poor and meritorious students of the Minority Community pursuing professional degree courses like Medicine, Engineering, Computer Applications, Chartered Accountancy & Business Administration.

(B)

The Loan Scholarship will be awarded for a period of Twelve Months every year commencing from the month in which the selection of the candidates has been made.

(C)

The MET will decide the number of awards every year according to the availability of the funds.

(D)

The eligible candidates will be interviewed by a Selection Committee formed for this purpose.

(E)

The selected will be required to sign the Loan Scholarship Recovery Bond Paper.

(F)

Repayment of Loan Scholarship will commence after the scholarship holder has completed his/her education and settled down in the profession or after expiry of One Year of completion of education whichever is earlier.

(G)

It is expected that the awardees, when they settle in life, will in turn guide, counsel and assist promising Muslim students. They will work for the social, educational and economic upliftment of the weaker section of the Community.

(H)

Students pursuing graduation and post graduation studies in the subjects approved for Loan Scholarship will be eligible provided that they possess the following qualifications:

(a)

Age not more than 27 Years as on the last date announced for receipt of the Application Form.

(b)

At least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

(c)

Candidate should be studying as a regular student and should not be studying in any university/ institution, which offers Correspondence Courses/Distance Education.

(d)

Not being in receipt of any other scholarship.

HOW TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FORM
01.

Application must be filled in candidate's own handwriting clearly with ballpoint pen in Block Capital Letters.

02.

All informations like correct and complete Present as well as Permanent Address with Pin Code must be provided otherwise the application may not be processed.

ATTACHMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE COMPLETION OF APPLICATION

01. Attested copy of the Birth Certificate.
02.

Attested copy of the Secondary & Senior Secondary School Certificates and Marksheets.

03.

Attested copy of the Qualifying/any other examination appeared in.

04.

Bonafide Certificate in Original and Attested copies of the Fee Receipts, Identity Card etc.

05.

Certificate of Good Health from a Doctor or a Hospital.

06.

Income Certificate of Father or Guardian.  

07.

Two self-addressed envelopes of size 9"x4" with postage stamp of Rs. 5/= on each. (In the absence of self­addressed stamped envelopes. the Trust will not be responsible for delayed/no intimation to the candidates)

IMPORTANT NOTES AND INSTRUCTIONS

01.

Candidate is advised to read all the above-mentioned points carefully and detach this page for their future reference before filling up the Application Form.

02.

All applicants are required to show their Original Documents at the time of the Interview.

03.

Giving False or Incomplete information or Receipt of the Application Form after Last Date may result in Cancellation of the application and No Correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

04.

Application forms sent directly to MET Office on the address mentioned above wilt only be processed.

05.

MET will not be responsible for postal delays. Hence, the candidate is advised to send the Duly Completed Application Forms alongwith the required documents, well in advance so as to reach on or before 25th September 2005, the last date of submission of the application form.
