is due to his constant hard work that has taken Anjuman across borders to
almost twenty countries in the world. He is one of the senior-most members of
Bihar Anjuman, represents Bihar Anjuman in Saudia, and moderates Anjuman's Yahoo
Group. His passion to work for the cause of Islam and the Muslim Community
really inspires and encourages every one.

Ahmad is a native of Darbhanga District. He holds a Bachelors degree from
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and MBA from LNMI, Muzaffarpur. Currenlty, he
is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and works as a senior manager. He can

website is a brainchild of Shabi Hashmi who represents the Bihar Anjuman in
Europe and moderates the Yahoo
Group email reflector. He comes from a family that is one of the most
educated and well-known for their adherence to Islamic values. He is
associated with many other soceities working towards upliftment of the Muslim
masses.
Brother
Shabi is a native of Darbhanga District. He received a Bachelor of Technology
from Aligarh Muslim University(AMU) in 2001 and Master of Engineering from
Germany. He is currently based in United Kingdom and works as Research
Assistant at Agilent Center of High Frequency Engineering and is working
towards his Doctor of Engineering from Cardiff University. He should be

Anjuman is priviledged to have one of its moderators in the Far East, who is
successfully bringing people together, in possibly the most difficult region
to do so. He is the one who takes pains, every morning, to moderate the early

Farah is a native of Ranchi, and has helped Anjuman reach the remotest corners
of Jharkhand. He obtained his Masters and PhD degrees from Aligarh Muslim
University (AMU). He is currently based in Seoul (South Korea) and works as a

Son
of a renowned Urdu literateur, Professor Dr. Syed Wahab Ashrafi, he is the
Bihar Anjuman's representative in Abu Dhabi (UAE), whose association with the
Anjuman movement started in 1992, which makes his span longer than the life of
Anjuman's Yahoo
Group as well as the Bihar Anjuman's Dubai chapter. He is the most
important organizer of Anjuman's anual Iftar gatherings in Abu Dhabi, where he
currently lives, and works for Emirates Telecommunication Corporation(
Etisalat).
Brother
Shakeel Ashrafi comes from village Kako under Jahanabad district, but has
spent most of his school and college days in Ranchi. He has spent a better
part of his youth in Gaya, and wishes to spend his glorious days in Patna
where he has finally settled down along with his parents and rest of the
family. He graduated as a Civil Engineer from the National Institute of
Technology, Surathkal in 1985, worked with ABB, in Delhi before landing at the

has been the soul of Bihar Anjuman's movement that started with the formation of
Anjuman Islamia, Bihar that later changed into Anjuman Islamia, Bihar and
Jharkhand, and has been the main source of its Financial well-being. His
unflinching dedication and unparalleled honest endeavours led to the movement
gain momentum scaling milestones which seemed impossible to many. The birth of
this network called "Bihar Anjuman" would have been but a dream
without his selfless commitment towards the social cause that the movement has
undertaken.

Shakeel Ashraf is a native of Begusarai District. He graduated with a degree in
Civil Engineering (B. E.) from Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, Muzaffarpur.
Currently, he lives in Dubai with his family and works for Al Thurath

Anjuman's Yahoo!
Group is his brainchild, and this innovative creation is an outcome of his
unflinching determination and perseverance. His untiring efforts have led to a
strong network of Muslims from Bihar, living all around the world, ready to help
fellow brothers and sisters. His inner urge to do something for the
backward Muslim community belonging to one of the most under-developed Indian
states is already bearing fruits, now.

Shakeel is a native of village Bherokhra, P.S. Tajpur under Samastipur District.
He received his secondary school education in Pusa High School, Pusa (Samastipur).
Studied, later at A.N. College, Patna (1976-78) to complete his I.Sc. He
graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering (B. Tech.) from Institute of
Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU, 1984) and MBA from XLRI,
Jamshedpur. Currenlty, he lives in Dubai with his family and works for Emirates
Telecommunication Corporation( Etisalat). He has 2 daughters and a son. He can
